About Me
Folks seem to like to know about the person that puts up a Web site, so. . . . .
Here I am---
--- well, no, I don't look quite that young any more. In fact, it's been a little while since I looked that young.
Nowadays I look more like this:
And here's my family---
--- well, no, none of them look quite that young any more either. In fact, nowadays we look more like this:

One would think that maybe the differences in these pairs of pictures are the reason why I am interested in the topic of antiaging!
But you may also have noticed that even though there are more of us, one of the stars is missing. My husband graduated to his new life in 2007. And the last number of years of his life are the biggest reason I am interested in learning and sharing about antiaging. It is his picture you see on the Google tabs of the pages of this Website.
I know it's awfully small, but it reminds me of him each time I work on this site, and I felt it was a good way to honor him.
Although he was but two years older than I, he aged much faster, primarily because he had Parkinson's. But this got me looking around me and noticing how others aged, and trying to see if I could discover what the differences are.
But all that doesn't alone qualify me to track antiaging information. I have long been involved in medically related pursuits. Over the course of the years I have worked with several nutritional programs (I've mentioned them elsewhere in this site), and have been a colonic hydrotherapist. I have been a research assistant for a psychologist in a facility for juvenile delinquents, which was a step towards my becoming a licensed mental health therapist.
I have also worked as a medical transcriptionist and as a customer service representative in a health insurance company. I guess that all of this together would constitute a well-rounded experience in the medical arena.
I have also ghostwritten a number of blog and miscellaneous articles, on and off the Internet, on topics such as brachytherapy, Vitamin B-6, multiple sclerosis, What You Need to Know about Preparing for and Recovering from Open Heart Surgery, Bee Venom Therapy, air purifiers, and much more. I have done these because I love to read and research on a variety of health related topics.
So now I am working on antiaging, and as this site unfolds you will see the results of my reading and research. I hope it is both enjoyable and helpful for you in every way you need.
Oh, yeah, I've also received a few kudos. These don't really mean much, but as long as I am puffing myself up and trying to impress you, I'll mention them. I was listed in the Marquis Who's Who in America, 2007, and then the Marquis Who's Who in the Midwest, 1989, 1991, and 2006. And last, and probably least, I was (and will be) listed in Who's Who of American Women, 2000-2001, 2002-2003, and 2008-2009 (not yet published). (Actually, I'm putting this here because I've never mentioned it to my children, and I thought this would be a great surprise---they have never known of my moments of "fame"!)
Now that you are presumably suitably impressed (or at least my children and grandchildren are), I'll close this travesty and let you get into the meat of the site!
God bless you!
